okok so Lara is currently languishing with a high fever and so I am writing this post on her behalf, and it's... Plot time!!

Marked for (Not)Death (but Capture).

Sob.

AS YOU GUYS PROBABLY KNOW, Roxanne recently... uh. Well what happened was she 1. developed a crush on Teresa and started stalking her/copying her yoki-sensing power 2. meanwhile, got into an argument with Isley and decided to off his girlfriend in a fit of pique 3. attacked Priscilla but was driven off but ran into Teresa while retreating and 4. Killed her, basically by using her selective yoki-disappearing act to blind Teresa's yoki-sensing, all the while using said yoki-trick on Teresa herself. This of course is what gave rise to the whole mist monster plot.

So okay, now Teresa's back and Roxanne is revealed as the ultimate source of all that strife. Problem is, she's not exactly easy to 'catch' - she's nearly as powerful as Teresa, plus she has Teresa's yoki-sensing trick. Even Teresa herself can't catch Roxanne alone, since she can selectively suppress.

Which means... we're looking to pull a squad of Claymores together to go after her Teresa-execution-squad style, but with the goal of capturing her instead of killing her.

WHICH MEANS WE'RE LOOKING FOR CAST VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN TERESA IN CAPTURING OUR ROGUE CLAYMORE!

Before you volunteer though, know this: Beating Roxanne is nearly as tough as beating Teresa right now, so she won't go down easily. Especially since she won't hold back, and she'll fight to kill. ...which doesn't mean I'm asking to kill anyone (unless you just have a hankering to have your character killed), but it does mean you can expect her to pull a Hysteria and hack the hell out of whoever comes after her, so I'd like some injury volunteers, is what I'm saying here. XD I do intend her to get captured, though, I promise I'm not godmodding. Sob.

(Ultimately, she's going to get captured, killed by Isley in a trial by combat, and go abyssal one. But she'll lose the Preemptive Yoki Sensing when she dies, because the world does not need a precognitive Abyssal One).

Long story short: WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO BE PART OF THE ROXANNE CAPTURING SQUAD AND DOES ANYONE WANT A LIMB HACKED OFF OR ANYTHING?

P.S. currently on the table: the idea of an ambush on Roxydear, especially since Miata's kind of baiting her.

You know I'm totally for it. Want her to try and torture Miata a little? That's fine too. There will be a LOT of slashes that she'd give in return.

She would even be able to track without yoki, since...that's how she found Galatea.

Oh yeah absolutely on the yoki-less tracking. Roxanne can only disappear on one person at a time anyway, and she'd REALLY REALLY USE IT ON TERESA, ROFL. Lest Teresa cut her to pieces.

I don't want to drive poor Miata into the crazyhouse BUT... I am totally in favor of messing her up a bit, sob.

In the group, I imagine Roxanne would find Teresa and Miata the most dangerous. Priscilla's not there for playercest reasons, which makes Miata probably... second only to Teresa in raw strength out of the group. So she's focus on Teresa and Miata before the others anyway.

And considering she's like Priscilla and Teresa in the fact that she doesn't release her yoki when she fights...that'll make it all the more interesting.

Likely Roxanne wouldn't be able to handle Teresa and Miata together. Teresa is too centered, and with Miata's fighting style...

I disagree! I mean, as long as Teresa can't track Roxanne's movements and Roxanne cant preemptively sense everyone there, the advantage is with Roxanne, IMO. This is the same power that let Teresa take out four people with better strength/speed/agility than she had, herself.

And there's not really any comparison between Miata/Teresa's not using yoki and Priscilla's, in this case - Teresa and Miata still emit yoki despite not actively using it whereas Priscilla is totally invisible.

Good point. Galatea is a sensor as well so...should the yoki from Teresa and Miata flare up enough to encourage outside help? Maybe from the Bleach cast, other sensors?

MAYBE? ROXANNE TOTALLY HAS TO LOSE, ROFL, so to me it depends on how many other claymores want to be involved because... this is gonna sound weird. >.<

Like, okay, I don't actualyl want Roxanne to come off as some kind of godthing, because she's not, she's just a very powerful number one who's currently sporting the series' most HAXX0R ability. (the sheer HAXX0Rness of it is why she cant keep it after we kill her off. XD)

SO I feel like if we bring in a LOT of claymores PLUS shinigami, then we're going to end up with either an anticlimactic non-battle (where Roxanne gets utterly curbstomped and is the only one injured) OR she comes off like an Abyssal One because she DOESNT get curbstomped.

I feel like if we keep it to claymores, we can walk the balance where she comes off as powerful + having stolen a godmode ability (the combo allowing her to get in some good hits before getting taken down) without coming across as though she's... you know, as powerful as Isley or whatever.

Because yeah, without Teresa's power, she'd get her ass handed to her by Miata and Teresa, or even Teresa alone, AND she'd probably have a much harder time with Miata than she expects, too.

Now all that said, if we only have like three Claymores in the ambush then it makes more sense to bring in more people, since then it'd be harder to get Roxanne taken out without cutting some of their heads off.

I HOPE THAT MADE SENSE.

But basically I'm just going for "whatever will get Roxanne 1. defeated but 2. not without a good showing."

The goals are: put up a good struggle, have some mauling, get her butt eventually handed to her. We jusssst have to see if the other warriors decide to hop in or not.

I can offer both of mine. Tabitha is pretty good at sensing and she has her yoki completely suppressed which might be of an advantage.

Flora will always be willing to help as well. XD
